Rolawn donate turf for Normandy Community Therapy Garden

Rolawn, Europe's largest turf grower have donated their famous Medallion turf to Normandy Community Therapy Garden near Guildford as part of the expansion of their sales area prior to opening in aid of the National Gardens Scheme.
Anne Adey, Founder and Manager of the garden commented "Rolawn kindly supplied their wonderful Medallion turf for this area. A number of our clients assisted in laying the turf as part of their accredited vocational training 'Skills for Working Life' and will continue maintaining the newly established turf".

Normandy Community Therapy Garden's aim is to improve through 'therapeutic horticulture' the health of disabled people, increasing fitness, mobility and to enhance the quality of life. To provide for those that wish it, an accredited course of training in horticulture, which will lead to possible employment with a job broker service given. The garden was established as a charity in 1999 and occupies a one acre site given by Guildford Borough Council.
