Rolawn support Greenfingers Charity Garden at Acorns

16/07/2010

Rolawn support Greenfingers Charity Garden at Acorns Through their long association with the Greenfinger’s Charity, Rolawn, Britain’s largest turf grower, were delighted to donate their renowned Medallion® turf and Turf & Lawn Seeding topsoil to Acorns Children’s Hospice, Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Transforming the garden at Acorns was a major project, however the result is a stunning garden that the children and their families will be able to enjoy.

The garden at Acorns is comprised of two different designs. The Family Garden features a fun water feature, shaded section and play area, while the Sensory Garden is primarily a place of calm and remembrance.

Dee McCann, volunteer manager at Acorns in Birmingham commented “The new garden would not have been possible without generous donations from supporters such as Rolawn. It is a fantastic addition to the hospice that will make a huge difference to our children and their families.”
