Rolawn turf displayed at Edinburgh College of Art Degree Show Rolawn’s renowned Medallion® turf is being featured in an unusual sculpture study at Edinburgh College of Art’s annual Degree Show.

The lush green swards of Medallion® turf have been used along with other mediums by Angela Davison, as part of her final year degree submission entitled ‘Cultivating Independence’.

The installation involves a life size silhouette cut out of the sculptor, with a printed image on each side suspended 4 feet off the ground. The floor space of the installation is turfed. It is based around the concept of the real and the imaginative.

Edinburgh College of Art has an international reputation as one of the most successful independent art colleges in the UK and the show is open free to the public from 12th June – 20th June. The annual Degree Show is a showcase of work by over 400 graduating students across 23 art, design and architecture specialism’s and will be on display throughout the College, which is temporarily transformed into an enormous exhibition space. Edinburgh College of Art has an international reputation as one of the most successful independent art colleges in the UK.
