Note
The new Farleigh Hospice near Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, Essex, opened its doors to its first patients in January 2006 following 17 years of providing care at the old Hospice on New London Road. With a remit to care for people with life limiting illnesses throughout mid Essex, Farleigh Hospice supported some 2,400 people last year. All of this care is provided free of charge and the Hospice relies on the generosity of local people donating, fundraising and leaving gifts in their Wills to ensure this care can continue. http://www.farleigh.org/
