How to Order

Shopping on Rolawn Direct is simple, safe and straightforward. You can order online at any time, just follow the instructions below.

When making purchases from Rolawn Direct, your payments are processed using Protx's Secure Servers. This means that any information you send is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates and cannot be examined, used or modified by third parties.

Finding the right product

There are two ways of finding a product you are interested in:

  1. Click on the preferred category link in the Product menu on the left, or,
  2. Click on the Home link in the top menu, where you can select turf or topsoil, as well as a selection of our Latest Products and Special Offers.
Once you have found your category, all of the products in the category will be shown.

More Information

Whenever you see a More Information link, it will take you to a description page providing you with further details about the product.

Pricing

Prices for turf, topsoil, soil improver, bark and topdressing are based on quantity and delivery postcode. The price will be confirmed when the item is added your Shopping Basket. Prices for all other products are fixed.

All product pages show prices in (GBP) sterling, and include VAT. In the Basket and Checkout stages, prices are shown exclusive of VAT, with the total VAT displayed and included in the total.

Add to Order

Clicking will add the product to your Basket.

Shopping Basket

The shopping basket stores the products you have selected. The products will remain here until you remove them, leave the Rolawn Direct website or proceed to checkout (you are still under no obligation to purchase at this stage).

From the basket you are able to remove products or update quantities. To remove a product, click [Remove], situated to the right of the product price. In order to update the quantity of a product, correct the quantity shown in the box to your desired quantity, then click .

To view the contents of your online 'Shopping basket' at any time click Basket/Checkout in the top menu on the right-hand-side.

Once you have finished shopping and would like to purchase your item(s), click on and follow the instructions from there on which will include details of where you would like your chosen product(s) to be delivered and your desired payment option.

You will also have the option to register for My Rolawn, which will speed up the checkout process for future orders and receive special Rolawn promotional offers.

Methods of Payment

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit (Delta or Connect), Maestro, Solo, Electron and American Express (Amex). Please note Amex cards are only accepted for orders placed online.

Your payments are processed using Protx's Secure Servers. This means that any information you send is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates and cannot be examined, used or modified by third parties. For added security we have introduced Verified by Visa and Mastercard® SecureCode™, an online version of chip and PIN. Depending on the card you are using you may be asked by your card issuer for further authentication. Authorization of your payment may take a few seconds to complete. Please wait for the order confirmation page to appear before closing your browser.

Confirmation email

Once your order has been processed successfully you will receive two confirmation emails - one confirming your payment has been successful and another confirming your order details. If you do not receive both emails, please contact us.

Delivery Charge

Delivery is inclusive on orders of £20 or more. For orders under £20 a £4.99 delivery charge will be added.

Delivery

Delivery is available on the UK mainland only.

Upon receipt of your order for turf, topsoil, soil improver, bark or topdressing the Rolawn depot handling your order should contact you by telephone by 5pm the following working day to discuss your delivery requirements. To ensure prompt delivery, when placing your order we ask for a daytime telephone number, where you can be easily reached.

You can also enter your preferred delivery date and any other comments in the 'special instructions' box and we will endeavour to meet your requirements.

We aim to deliver within 2 to 5 working days from receipt of your order.

Orders for turf, topsoil, soil improver, bark or topdressing can also be placed for delivery at any future date (please detail in the 'special instructions' box).

Deliveries will be made between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). We will agree with you a day for delivery but cannot guarantee timed deliveries. We will however endeavour to meet your requirements where possible.
