7. Do I have to be at home when the delivery is made?
For deliveries of turf, topsoil, compost, soil improver, bark or topdressing it is preferable that you are available at the delivery address to accept the delivery; therefore it is important that you ensure that you are satisfied with the delivery date selected. You must also provide safe access to the point of unloading.
Rolawn is able to deliver turf, topsoil, compost, soil improver, bark or topdressing if you are not present, but in these circumstances we can accept no liability for any deterioration in or theft of any of the items delivered. Neither can we accept responsibility for the consequences of the positioning of the pallets or bulk bags by the delivery driver.
Deliveries of lawn fertiliser, lawn seed and mole repel must be signed for on delivery. If you are not available to take delivery our courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver. Follow the instructions on the card to rearrange delivery.
Lawn pest control products (excluding mole repel) will be delivered by Royal Mail and do not need to be signed for.
